CCA TOPS THE ONE HUNDRED MARK

THIS WEEK, AT CCA THERE WAS CLUB DAY. BUT FOR TEFILLIN & CHILLIN IT WAS MORE THEN CLUB DAY. IT WAS TAKE A BOW DAY, BEING THE BIGGEST HIT OF ALL CLUB, WITH THE SUKKA MOBILE PARKED NEXT TO ALL THE OTHER CLUB TABLES. IT STOOD OUT LIKE A CRUISE SHIP IN A BAY . WE HAD OVER 100 JEWISH STUDENTS SIGN UP FOR THE CLUB AND G-D WILLING THE REST OF THEM WILL SIGN UP IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

WITH THE GREAT SUCSESS AT CANYON CERST ACADEMY FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS. T&C IS JUST GETTING BIGGER AND BETTER, STARTING THIS WEEK, JEWISH STUDENTS AT TORY PINES HIGH SCHOOL, WILL BE GETTING TOGETHER ON THURSDAYS DURING LUNCH FOR THE TEFILLIN &CHILLIN CLUB

WOW!! WHAT A SCENE TO SEE SUCH A BIG CROWD BY THE TEFILLIN & CHILLIN WITH OVER 50 PEOPLE. IT WAS A SIGHT TO SEE, THE SMELL OF THE PIZZA THE SOUNDS OF THE CHATTING AND THE SIGHT OF THE GUYS PUTTING ON THE TEFILLIN IT WAS AWESOME SO IF YOU KNOW ANYONE IN CANYON CREST ACADEMY MAKE SURE YOU LET THEM KNOW OF THE CLUB ON FRIDAYS BY LUNCH !!!

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN DEL MAR

It's the Sukkah mobile. Most of us know of a sukkah as a portable room on the side of the house or synagogue. Well my friends for the first time Chabad Jewish Center of Del Mar would like to introduce to you a new style sukkah that is the "traveling Sukkah Mobile." with the help of Chabads new youth director, Rabbi Yo has done a great job with designing it and building it. He would like to give his thanks to mendy for helping with the building and a big thanks to Ted Tar'an from dixiline lumber for giving us a great discount on the wood. Rabbi Yo would like to invite evryone to come join him in the sukkah, and make a blessing. Starting monday october 9 through friday october 13

WHAT A SUCCESS !!

Did you hear about the "Tefillin &Chillin" this past Friday. It was an amazing thing we had 40-50 people show up to put on the tefillin and get inspired at the same time chilling with the rabbis for some pizza. This program was started last year in Tory Pines high school and this year they were joined by Canyon Crest Acadamy with lots of thanks to josh hillman,mendy andShai Yeshanov and of course rabbi Yo and rabbi piekarski for making all the arrangments.
